In this project, we proposed our own vision for the formation of a recreational space. The natural topography, existing buildings, and creative freedom allowed us to find unconventional solutions. The complex includes two main units: a gazebo and an outdoor swimming pool with a built-in bar, changing rooms, and sanitary facilities. These elements are united by a complex structure that simultaneously serves as a boundary between the areas and functions as a sunshade. The complex includes two main units: a gazebo and an outdoor swimming pool with a built-in bar, changing rooms, and sanitary facilities. These elements are united by a complex structure that simultaneously serves as a boundary between the areas and functions as a sunshade.
The composition of the gazebo and pool is based on the idea of the interaction of three elements – water, wind and sun, which are the basic factors of the environment.
The gazebo is functionally connected to the pool area, but has a separate entrance from the grounds, allowing it to be used either independently or in conjunction with the pool. The main space of the gazebo is a 90-square-meter hall with panoramic windows overlooking the canal and sunset views. There is also a small serving area with the ability to prepare and reheat food brought in from the restaurant.
