In this project, we proposed our own vision for the formation of a recreational space. The natural topography, existing buildings, and creative freedom allowed us to find unconventional solutions. The complex includes two main units: a gazebo and an outdoor swimming pool with a built-in bar, changing rooms, and sanitary facilities. These elements are united by a complex structure that simultaneously serves as a boundary between the areas and functions as a sunshade. he underwater gazebo suite at Selfish Club is a complex engineering structure located on an artificial lake and integrated into the recreational environment of the complex.
The above-water part functions as a space for recreation and fishing while maintaining the architectural language of the surrounding structures within the territory. The main spatial experience unfolds on the underwater level, where a panoramic suite with a large viewing window allows guests to observe the underwater life of the lake.
The project combines a recreational function, engineering complexity, and an unconventional interaction between people and the natural environment. For Ukrainian recreational architecture, this type of underwater space is unique, and the YUGMA team successfully brought the concept to life in full.
