A modern country residence near Kyiv combines the main house, bathhouse, gazebo and guardhouse into a single private complex for living and recreation. The location of the buildings ensures the preservation of the landscape and most of the trees that were planted by the owners long before the start of construction.

An important component of the concept was the delineation of private and guest scenarios for the use of the territory. The main entrance naturally divides the complex into two functional parts: the area of the main house and baths and a separate space for receiving guests. The gazebo includes everything necessary for both short-term rest and long-term stay, allowing guests to comfortably use the complex without interfering with the private life of the owners.

The main building has clear functional zoning. The first floor is dedicated to the common spaces and the master bedroom, while the second floor has private rooms. The two-level living room fills the central space with natural light and enhances the sense of space. The architecture of the building is based on a combination of several volumes of different heights, forming an expressive silhouette and creating a smooth transition between the interior, terraces and garden.

This is an excellent example of modern wooden architecture with large terraces and openness to the environment. Vertical planks of two types made of thermal pine are used to finish the facades. Thanks to special processing, the wood has an expressive natural texture, resistant to moisture and temperature changes, and over time acquires a noble silver-gray shade.

The site is located near a canal and within an area subject to seasonal flooding. This required a comprehensive engineering approach to site preparation. Shoreline stabilization and flood protection measures were integrated into the project and became one of the key factors influencing the development of the residence’s master plan.

The project was developed during wartime conditions, therefore a waterproofed shelter was incorporated beneath the main building. Integrated into the overall structure of the residence, it provides safety without affecting the architecture or the everyday use of the house.

The volumetric solution of a high-rise residential building was developed compatible with the architectural workshop TAM “Koval”.

The design site is located in the Podolsk district of Kiev, has a developed infrastructure: a number of supermarkets, children’s educational institutions, and a variety of restaurants are located nearby. The residential building has 25 floors. The simplicity of the facades of the house creates a compositional lightness of the object, which harmoniously fits into the surrounding building.

The administrative building project was developed as an extension of the existing production complex of GGC, one of the leading glass manufacturers in Ukraine. Our task was to design a five-story administrative building, provide convenient access to it, and reconsider the logic of the master plan and circulation routes without disrupting the integrity of the already established structure of the enterprise.

The Houseboat 2025 was created by the YUGMA team as a modern format for housing on the water.
The layout includes a kitchen-living room, an open terrace, which becomes an extension of the interior space, two bedrooms, bathrooms, a sauna. An external staircase leads to the second level of the terrace for relaxation with panoramic views.
The architectural image is built on the contrast of dark facade panels and warm wood. The combination of materials creates an expressive character of the house and emphasizes the modern geometry of the volume.

Aquazone “Pavutynka” was designed as an extension of the existing countryside complex Dali Space. The YUGMA team was tasked with integrating a new recreational area into an already established environment while creating a contemporary scenario for summer leisure.
The aquazone includes a large swimming pool, a children’s pool, and a café-bar. The territory was organized according to the principle of functional zoning, incorporating separate lounge areas, sunbeds, canopies, and spaces for different leisure activities.
A key architectural element of the project became the bar structure with its lightweight timber framework, creating a recognizable identity for the space.
The project became an example of YUGMA’s approach to expanding existing recreational environments and creating holistic spaces for relaxation and interaction.

Clinker Brick Residence

The 150 m² residential house is based on the combination of two materials — clinker brick and wood. The architecture is defined by simple geometric forms, restrained facade composition, and a balance between privacy and openness to the surrounding environment. The YUGMA team was challenged to design a house on a compact site with a complex configuration.
The single-story layout creates an open living scenario through terraces, large window openings, and a seamless transition between the interior and the surrounding landscape.

Klinika Vykhidnoho Dnia – Interior Design

The master plan creates a system of green spaces, pedestrian routes, and private recreation areas. Although the hotel houses share a similar architectural appearance, each unit features an individual interior layout adapted to different living scenarios. Covered terraces became an essential part of the project, creating secluded outdoor spaces and ensuring privacy between neighboring units. The project reflects YUGMA’s approach to recreational architecture, where the focus extends beyond individual buildings to the creation of a complete environment, user scenarios, and a strong connection with the surrounding landscape.

In addition to the redesign of the interior spaces, we also developed a new solution for the entrance group of the building. We updated the appearance of the entrance and navigation, as well as created a new signboard design to form a holistic image of the clinic and improve its recognition.
A feature of the project was working with the existing space and the need to adapt new solutions without a complete redesign.

HOUSEBOAT ORIGAMI

HOUSEBOAT ORIGAMI is a concept of a modern floating house, where architecture becomes an extension of the natural environment. The project was created as a new format of mobile housing, combining the functionality and comfort of a full-fledged house with freedom of placement. HOUSEBOAT ORIGAMI can offer different life scenarios – from private housing on any reservoir to relaxation in the waters of recreational complexes.

The overall look of the building was inspired by the plasticity of modern yachts. The HOUSEBOAT layout includes a common living space with a kitchen, two bedrooms, a sauna, bathrooms and a spacious terrace. The architectural feature was a complex structural shell that envelops the entire building together with the terrace. Thanks to this, the external space becomes a full-fledged continuation of the interior.

A modern private residence in Spain demonstrates an atypical approach to residential architecture for the region. The main structural material is glued laminated timber, which is combined with traditional materials for the local context – natural stone and ceramics.

The house with an area of 550 m² consists of several separate volumes, divided by functional purpose. This planning solution allowed to create private courtyards, open green spaces and an expressive architectural composition, organically integrated into the landscape.

Large panoramic windows provide a constant visual connection with the natural environment, and deep terraces protect the interiors from the intense sun and form comfortable semi-open areas for relaxation.

This project is an example of a harmonious combination of different cultural traditions, climatic conditions and modern technologies of wooden construction. The architecture of the house was created at the intersection of the nature of the place, the wishes of the customer and the real life scenario.

Mirrored modular houses

The concept of modular houses for the recreation complex provides for a compact and functional structure with two rooms in each block.
The area of one module is 65.6 m², which includes two separate rooms of 29 m² each with a shared open terrace.
The architecture is built on a combination of brown seamed roofing, dark wood cladding and mirrored facade planes. The materials are selected to harmoniously interact with the natural environment and emphasize the peaceful nature of the location.

The location in a dense pine forest determined the key decision – the use of mirror surfaces, which visually dissolve the building in the environment and enhance the effect of merging with nature. The buildings do not dominate the landscape, but become its continuation.
